Car seats can typically be installed in two ways: with the car’s seat belt or with an ISOFIX base. Both methods are safe when installed correctly — the difference is mainly in convenience and compatibility.
1) Belt Mounting (Seat Belt Installation)
Works in almost all cars, even older models without ISOFIX.
The seat is secured using the car’s 3-point seat belt.
Offers great flexibility but requires careful installation to ensure the seat is firmly tightened and routed correctly.
Perfect when you need to move the seat between multiple cars.

2) ISOFIX Mounting
Uses built-in metal anchor points in the car for a fast and secure click-in installation.
Minimises the risk of incorrect installation and is extremely quick.
Requires that your car has ISOFIX anchor points (most modern cars do).
Often combined with a support leg for extra stability.
